1 injured in shooting outside Christ Lutheran School
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. Sept 5 2021 Albuquerque Police say one person was injured Thursday after an altercation in the parking lot of Christ Lutheran School in northeast Albuquerque.
APD Chief Herald Medina says some young adults were walking from school grounds and then at some point began fighting in the parking lot of Christ Lutheran School.
Police say that’s when one of them pulled out a gun and shot at another. Chief Medina says a person did show up to UNM Hospital with gunshot wounds. That person is believed to be in stable condition.
At this time is unclear if the students involved are from Christ Lutheran School or from Sandia High School. Sandia High was under a shelter in place, however, it has since been lifted. No other information has been released at this time.
