1 person injured in shooting at Mall of Georgia, suspect arrested
GWINNETT COUNTY, Ga.

Gwinnett County Police are investigating a shooting at the Mall of Georgia that left one person injured on Saturday night.
Shortly before 9:30 p.m., an officer working security at the mall heard gunfire and ran toward the scene.
Authorities quickly apprehended a suspect who was attempting to flee. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives are currently canvassing the area for witnesses and reviewing evidence. Crime Scene Investigators are processing the scene, and one individual has been taken to Gwinnett County Police Headquarters for questioning.
