10 Killed-107 Injured During Black Friday Chaos
Charlotte NC November 26 2017 It didn’t take long for fists to fly and gunshots to ring out once early Black Friday shopping kicked off on Thanksgiving Day.
Police in Hoover Alabama, a suburb of Birmingham, responded to multiple fights at the Riverchase Galleria mall just before 11 pm.
Officers reported numerous injuries, arrests and finally shut the mall completely down.
Shopping on Black Friday has become so dangerous, there is even a website that tracks every death and accident caused by consumer madness.
The current count is 10 deaths and 107 injuries.
One man was nearly killed when stores opened for early Black Friday deals in Missouri on Thursday night.
An unidentified 19-year-old was shot in the parking lot of a mall, KMIZ-TV reported.
The victim is suffering life-threatening injuries.
Two men were sitting inside a car when one of them discharged a gun while trying to holster the weapon, Columbia police officers told the outlet.
Officers have not made any arrests and have yet to confirm whether the shooting was deliberate.
Two people were shot in the parking lot of another Alabama shopping mall.
Mobile police said that they responded to a double shooting at the Springdale mall.
Houston police report that one man was stabbed and another was shot during a brawl on Friday at the Willowbrook mall.
Police also are reporting shootings at a Walmart in South Carolina, a shopping mall in San Francisco and dozens of fights at retail stores and shopping centers nationwide.
