15 students treated by paramedics after eating marijuana edibles
PHILADELPHIA PA Sept 28 2019 — Paramedics treated at least 15 middle school students after they consumed marshmallow squares laced with marijuana.
Police received a report of several students getting sick at the West Oak Lane Charter School, the Philly Voice reported.
A student allegedly brought the laced edible treats to school and distributed them to fellow students.
Authorities believe the student purchased the marijuana edibles online and may face charges.
Paramedics transported the students to a local hospital for evaluation.
