15-year-old girl allegedly attacked at Pearlridge Center; family suing attackers and security guards

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly attacked at Pearlridge Center, and the victim’s family is suing not just her assailants but mall security guards as well.
The lawsuit claims she was brutally beaten, and it was all caught on camera.
Court documents report that the victim was with friends when a group of minors began harassing, bullying and threatening her.
The girl escaped and hid in a men’s restroom, but the group later found and assaulted her.
The minors are accused of Assault and Battery, as well as Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress.
The lawsuit also alleges mall security guards had multiple chances to step in and help but didn’t.
KITV4 reached out to Pearlridge Center who says, “Because it is a legal proceeding, we are unable to comment at this time.”
