2 Las Vegas Casino Security Officers Shot To Death

UPDATE: We have confirmed that the uniformed, armed security officers, 1 male, 1 female both in their 40’s were dispatched to the forth floor on a disturbance. A female stated that two men kicked her out of a room registered in her name. When security arrived, one man pulled a gun, killing both officers inside the hotel room.
That suspect fled, attempted to carjack a female and failed and then ran to an apartment complex where he was shot.
The suspect is not expected to live according to an 11 PM police report.
The names of the security officers have not been released.
Two security officers on duty at a hotel and casino in Las Vegas have been shot to death.
Las Vegas Metro Police say that the security officers have been killed at Arizona Charlie’s on Decatur Boulevard near U.S. 95.
Police say it happened in a room around 6:45 a.m.
After the shooting, the suspected shooter ran to a nearby residence and as police surrounded him, he shot himself.
The shooter was transported to University Medical Center. His condition is unknown.
The motive for the shooting is unknown at this time.
The names of the deceased will be released by the Clark County coroner after relatives have been notified.
On December 24th, a Las Vegas security officer was shot multiple times during a confrontation while on duty at a pizza restaurant. He did survive the shooting.
And on December 9th, a Las Vegas security officer was stabbed while trying to detain a theft suspect.
