2 shot to death in possible murder-suicide outside Hodgkins UPS facility

Two people were shot to death Monday afternoon in what is being investigated as a murder-suicide outside a UPS facility in Hodgkins, according to police.
The incident occurred about 1 p.m. after Hodgkins police received reports of shots fired in the employee parking lot at 1 UPS Way.
Officers found two people on the ground. They were pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The shooting victims have been identified as a woman and man. The woman was a UPS employee, police said.
A black semi-automatic handgun was recovered at the scene. An investigation is ongoing and there was a witness to the incident.
