4th Security Officer Dead 2 Others Shot in Week-end Violence
A fourth security officer is dead and two others have been shot and are in serious but stable condition during separate incidents.

Two shootings in California have left one security officer dead and another in serious condition following shootings in Los Angeles and Oakland.

The shooting was reported about 8:24 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of 23rd Avenue.
The business is a hydroponics store and also has marijuana on the property, authorities said. Police did not name the business.
The security guard apparently confronted at least two suspects trying to rob the business and was shot. Police did not say if the guard was armed.
Police said evidence at the scene indicated the suspects fled with some marijuana.

Police say that the security officer was outside the Target store, located on East 29th Street and 2nd Avenue, when he was approached by a man shortly before 6 a.m.
Police say the two men began arguing, before their dispute turned physical.
The unknown man then grabbed the security guard’s gun and shot him in the leg several times, police said.
The 58 year old security officer is in stable condition.
As of right now, four security officers have been killed, six others have been shot and one security officer has been hospitalized in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle.
