5 men accused of beating, robbing security guard at El Paso nightclub
EL PASO, Texas April 18 2022Â Police arrested five men in connection to an assault and robbery that happened at a gentlemen’s club in east El Paso last month.
On March 19, a security guard at Jaguar’s Gold Club was assaulted by a group of men as the security guard was escorting people out the club, according to an El Paso police release.
The men allegedly stole the security guard’s wallet and other items belonging to the guard.
The suspects got away before police arrived, stated the release.
On Tuesday, authorities arrested the remaining suspects in a city-wide operation that spanned multiple days.
The suspects were identified as Treavon Rashad Wilkins; 34, Hernando Richardo Alvarez; 32, Russel Rice; 31, Renwick Darnell Peoples; 31 and Jamal Marquail Sutton, 29.
All five men are facing charges of robbery.
Wilkins and Sutton are facing an additional charge of possession of marijuana.
They were all booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility.
