70 Gunshots, 1 Injured During Shooting Involving Security and nightclub Customers
NASHVILLE, Tenn. April 23 2025 At least 70 shots were fired in a shootout outside of a downtown Nashville nightclub early Monday morning that involved a security guard, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Police say after a group was kicked out of La Danse for punching a woman, they then shot at armed security guards.
Investigators said the group got into a fight at LA Danse Nashville at the corner of Commerce Street and Rosa L. Parks Boulevard.
Some of the people began walking towards the Tempo Hotel across the street but then turned and started firing back towards the club, police said.
That’s when security guards fired back, according to authorities.
One woman who was standing near a hot dog stand was hit in the leg but is expected to be okay.
No other injuries and no arrests have been reported.
