76 year old woman charged with robbery and assault of store security agent
FAIRFIELD, CT Dec 2 2021— A woman is charged after she slapped a security guard at a Fairfield grocery store, according to police.
Maria C. Henne, 76, is charged with third-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny, police said.
Henne hit the loss prevention employee when they tried to stop her from shoplifting about 3:15 p.m. Saturday at Stop & Shop, 760 Villa Ave., according to police.
An officer found Henne on Arising Street, and she was arrested and released on a $5,000 bond, police said.
