Rapper Travis Scott Blames Security Company for Paralyzed Fan After Concert Injury
New York City NY Aug 10 2018 Lawsuits and cross complaints have not been filed against and by Travis Scott after a concert-goer was paralyzed following a brawl at a concert.
Scott is firing back against the security company who was supposed to keep order during one of his concerts, and putting the blame on them for a severely injured fan.
The fight happened at a 2017 concert at the Bowery where Strike Force Protective Services was hired to keep the peace.
Scott claims their, recklessness and carelessness contributed to a fan allegedly ending up paralyzed.
Kyle Green sued the Astroworld rapper claiming he incited mayhem and chaos during the NYC performance, and led to Green allegedly getting shoved over a balcony by out of control fans.
Green alleged that he was improperly removed from the venue after the fall, and now needs a wheelchair for mobility.
Scott disagrees and said in his claim that any injuries Green suffered were his own fault, and that he should have known the risks associated with attending a concert.
Strike Force Protective Services hasn’t answered the claims against them for not protecting the concert participants or attendees.
Scott wants the case dismissed, and wants to make it clear that if any damages are awarded to the injured fan, then it’s going to be paid by the security company and the venue.
