Security officer shoots robbery suspect at phone store
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. Sept 1 2018 A security guard shot a robber Thursday night at a Metro PCS store on Chester Avenue, police said.
Police said the robbers entered the store shortly before 6 p.m., pointing a gun at employees and shoppers.
An armed security guard stepped in to stop the robbery and shot one of the suspects. The other robbers took off, police said.
A shopper was also injured, but police didn’t say how that person was hurt.
