Virginia sheriff’s deputy, wife killed in crash
Luray, Va. Sept 4 2018 – An off-duty Sheriff’s Deputy and his wife are dead after a weekend crash in Page County.
State Police spokesman F-L Tyler says that Randall Hensley and his wife Missy were riding their 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle about 6:40 Sunday night on a section of Route 340.
Tyler says a pick-up truck crossed the center line, side-swiping the Jeep in front of the Hensley’s and then struck the motorcycle head-on.
The Hensley’s were pronounced dead at the scene.
Tyler says the crash remains under investigation and did not have information on any other possible injuries or charges.
Randall Hensley was a Frederick County Sheriff’s Deputy.
