Armored car flips, crashes into pole in N. Houston
HOUSTON TX June 9 2017– A serious crash sent law enforcement, fire and emergency medical services to the scene where an armored truck flipped over.
The accident caused the vehicle to be heavily damaged when the vehicle flipped and slid into a pole in north Houston early Wednesday.
The crash happened on Airtex at I-45 North around 8:11 a.m.
The Dunbar Armored vehicle’s roof and cab were partially crushed by the pole.
Some injuries were reported but no fatalities.
The Harris County sheriff’s department is still investigating to determine if speed played a factor in the crash or some other element.
There was no report of other vehicles being involved.
