MetroPCS security officer fatally shoots armed robber
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. Sept 11 2018 – A robbery suspect injured when a security guard opened fire on him at MetroPCS last month, has died.
Trayvale Chance Gentry Carlson, 28, and another man entered the MetroPCS store, located at 1030 Chester Avenue on Aug 30 just before 6 p.m.
A security guard shot Carlson while the other suspect ran from the store, according to police.
He died from his injuries at Kern Medical, according to a release from Kern County coroner.
A customer was wounded, but expected to survive, police said at the time of the shooting.
