Mall security nabs Apple store thief

A group of brazen thieves wearing hoodies ran into an Apple store at a California mall Sunday and walked out with hundreds of dollars’ worth of merchandise — without paying for any of it.
A witness who was shopping at the time said that seven or eight “hooded guys” walked into the store at the Santa Rosa Plaza and started grabbing electronics from the displays.
“They just barged on in,” and started stealing he said.
The men loaded up with merchandise began running through the mall chased by several Apple store employees and mall security.
At least one was caught by mall security before escaping, according to the witness.
The security department at Santa Rosa Plaza declined to comment.
