Man bites off finger of bouncer at New Hampshire bar
MANCHESTER, N.H. September 28 2018 Police say a New Hampshire man has bitten off the finger of a bouncer who was attempting to remove him from a bar.
Thirty-year-seven-old Gregory Geneus was at McGarvey’s in Manchester Wednesday night when a 30-year-old bouncer asked him to leave.
Police said Geneus struck the bouncer several times. The bouncer then put Geneus in a bear hug and Geneus bit off the man’s finger.
The finger was later located in the bar and the bouncer brought to the hospital.
Geneus was charged with second degree assault, simple assault, criminal trespass and violation of bail conditions. He remained at the Hillsborough House of Corrections and is scheduled to appear in Hillsborough County Superior Court-North Thursday. A public defender has not yet been assigned.
