Possible suicide investigated at Monticello Walmart
MONTICELLO, Ind. June 13 2017— Police in this lake-side community are investigating the death of a man who was found Monday afternoon outside of the Walmart.
Monticello Police Chief Randy Soliday confirmed the death investigation and indicated the death might have been a suicide.
Police received the call at 2:28 p.m., and the body was found near the back of the Walmart building, Soliday said.
The chief declined to comment about specifics of the person’s death because of the ongoing investigation.
The Walmart is located on the western edge of the city on U.S. 24.
