Johnsontown PA October 29 2018
A woman had to be physically removed from the Memorial Medical Center after she attacked a security guard, according to a police report.
Police said they were called to the hospital when Diandra Hairston bit and hit a security guard in the face.
Hairston committed herself voluntarily to the hospital but refused to comply with ground changing for patients and disrupted the hospital with her screaming, according to the report.
Police said they arrested Hairston and transported her to the Public Safety Building where she attempted to kick an officer in the elevator and later threatened to kill her family and children.
Police said after they placed Hairston in a cell, she took off her clothes and tried to vandalize the toilet.
The water for her cell had to be shut off for safety reasons, according to the report.
Hairston faces several charges, including terroristic threats and aggravated assault.
