Security officer intentionally struck by vehicle at MAGA rally
FORT WAYNE, Ind. November 6 2018 – A security officer was hit in the parking lot of MAGA rally in in Fort Wayne on Monday afternoon.
President Trump who was set to speak at the rally in Fort Wayne on Monday and many people were lined up before the doors open at 6 p.m.
Authorities now report that one driver tried pulling into a parking spot outside the event and then allegedly side-swiped a car.
While the driver tried to leave the scene, he was flagged down by a security officer in the lot but the driver did not stop.
Police say that the driver then allegedly struck the security guard with his vehicle before leaving the parking lot.
The security officer was injured and police are searching for the driver in this hit and run.
