Salisbury police officer dies from suicide
Salisbury MD November 21 2018
The Salisbury Police Department is mourning the loss of an officer who died unexpectedly while off duty, according to a Tuesday social media post from the agency.
“Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as our agency mourns the unexpected off-duty loss of one of our own,” a tweet from the department states.
The tweet goes on to say that “it’s never too late to help” and tags the National Suicide Prevention Hotline, which can be reached at 1-800-273-8255 for 24/7 free, confidential crisis counseling.
There has been no official word as to the cause of death but the message posted by the police department indicates that the officer died from suicide.
A chalk message was left for the officer, who has been identified as Aaron “Bull” Hudson, that said “Never Forgotten” in front of Salisbury’s downtown kindness rock garden Tuesday morning, where flowers had been laid out.
