Security officer “carjacked” in golf cart

Police were called to assist a security officer who had been “carjacked” of his golf cart Monday according to a police report.
The security officer was on duty at a commercial plaza in the 4700 block of North Congress Avenue was riding in a golf cart when he was approached by two young males who asked how he was doing.
As he was replying to their greeting, one of the males pulled out a handgun and said, “Give me the golf cart, please.
” The two males got into the golf cart and drove off.
Officers searched the area but were unable to find the men involved in the robbery.
Police said that the security officer was not injured in the incident.
