Two Nashville Target store customers shot during robbery
NASHVILLE, Tenn. June 27 2017 Police responded to a Target store on White Bridge Road in West Nashville for a report of a shooting and found two victims.
Metro police were called to the business’ parking lot Monday night at 8:45 p.m. and say the shooting happened during a robbery.
A lieutenant on the scene told News 2 the robbery was committed against the victims; the store itself was not robbed.
Police said that it appears that it was a robbery in the parking lot that turned violent.
One man was shot in the arm and the other in the leg. Both victims were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Target remained open to customers during the parking lot shooting.
Investigators were also asking shoppers to check their cars to see if any evidence had landed on them.
The investigation is ongoing. Further details have yet to be released and there has not been update on the victim’s condition.
