1 dead, 2 injured in Cumberland County shooting
CROSSVILLE, Tenn. Jan 21 2019 – One person has died from a shooting in Cumberland County, according to Sheriff Casey Cox.
Cox said they responded along with Tansi Security and Tennessee Highway Patrol units to a reported shooting Saturday on Cherokee Trail.
It happened just after 6:30 p.m. and officers say there is no danger to the community.
Three people were taken to Cumberland Medical Center where one was pronounced dead. At least one of the others involved had very serious injuries but conditions have not been released.
