Pleasant Valley security officer recognized for heroic-life saving actions

Pleasant Valley board of education recently recognized a school security officer for his recent heroic actions.
Security officer Luis Fuentes quick actions helped to save the life of a co-worker according to a plaque that was presented to him during a recent meeting.
On December 1 2018, security officer Fuentes was patrolling the hallways of a school when he heard a call for help and sprang into action.
Kathleen Piccolo was gasping for air and needed immediate emergency care.
Fuentes began performing CPR while a nurse came to assist and was able to help Piccolo to start breathing normally.
School boar president Susan Kresge presented Fuentes with a proclamation and a hug.
