Man arrested for biting, scratching Carle Hospital security staff
CHAMPAIGN, Ill. Feb 7 2019 A man is arrested after allegedly biting and scratching security staff at Carle Hospital in Urbana.
Harlan Hutchinson, 23, was visiting a family member at the hospital Monday.
Police said he had been drinking alcohol and began causing a disturbance.
Nursing staff allegedly wanted Hutchinson taken away and called security.
Police also said the suspect made several threats and refused to leave the hospital.
He also allegedly bit a security officer on the wrist.
Hutchinson was arrested for aggravated battery.
