LUZERNE COUNTY PA July 2 2017 Police and EMS had to be called to the Keystone Jobs Corps in Luzerne County after a security officer was injured in a brawl involving more than two dozen people according to law enforcement.

State and local police responded to the large fight at the facility in Drums just before 8:00 am.
About 25 people are believed to have taken part in the fight that injured one security guard. He was taken to the hospital as a precaution.

There’s no word on what sparked the fight, and Keystone officials did not comment.

 

Students at the center protested in January over conditions at the federal facility.
The Keystone Job Corps center is an educational and technical training program for young people.
