Westgate Casino security officers stabbed by fraud suspects
Las Vegas NV March 15 2019 Two security officers at the Westgate Las Vegas suffered stab wounds this morning in an altercation with two people, Metro Police said.
Police said the fraud suspects were taken into custody by casino security officers at 11:43am according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Police said while they were in custody at the Westgate, they got into a fight with security guards and stabbed them.
Both security officers were transported to Sunrise Hospital with non-life threatening injuries police said.
The suspects will be charged for the fraud activity and the stabbings, police said.
Police had no information on what type of weapon or weapons were used.
