Springfield bar security officer stabbed
SPRINGFIELD, Il March 26 2019— Springfield Police are investigating a stabbing that took place at Mac’s Lounge on East Cook street in Springfield.
The stabbing happened around 1:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
Police say several fights broke out in the bar and a person thought they heard a gun shot.
A bar security guard was stabbed in his left forearm.
The security guard was taken to a local hospital for minor injuries.
There were no confirmed gunshots.
