Ex-Colorado Springs security guard and coach admits to abusing students
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. April 12 2019— A 30-year-old man has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting three students at a high school where he worked.
Keean Davis entered his plea Monday in an agreement with prosecutors and remains in the El Paso County jail. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 8.
Davis is a former paraprofessional educator, cheer coach and security guard for school districts in Colorado Springs and the Denver area.
In October, cheer schedules from Vista Peak Preparatory in Aurora listed Davis as a contact.
Police say Davis was arrested in October on suspicion of sexually assaulting a 16-year-old student at a Colorado Springs high school. Two other students later stepped forward, saying he plied them with alcohol or drugs before coaxing them to perform sex acts.
