Paine College student commits suicide on campus
AUGUSTA, Ga April 19 2019 Paine College officials have announced classes will be canceled Thursday after a student was found dead of an apparent suicide.
“This is a very difficult time for everyone in the Paine College family,” said President Hardee.
I have been in touch with the deceased student’s Family to express our condolences and offer support on behalf of the College community.”
Classes Friday were already canceled for Good Friday. Classes will resume Monday, April 22nd.
In a press release, officials said the Paine College Family ask that the public keep the student’s family and the campus community in their prayers.
