Irving Islamic Center security guard accused of sexually assaulting a child

A Texas security guard has been arrested for sexually assaulting a child but police are releasing few details.
The security guard was working at the Islamic Center of Irving during the assault police said.
Humzah Hashmi, 24, was arrested Friday and has been charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child.
The young male victim said the assaults happened from August 2016 through June 2017 at the Islamic Center inside an empty classroom, according to the arrest warrant affidavit.
The Irving Police Department is asking parents to talk to their kids and parents who feel their child may have had inappropriate contact is asked to get in touch with authorities.
The investigation remains ongoing and so far, police say one victim has been identified but that there may be more.
Hashmi was released on $25,000 bail.
