Allied Universal Snaps Up Cypress Private Security
SANTA ANA, Calif. June 26 2019 Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, has acquired Cypress Private Security, a San Francisco-based company offering comprehensive security services.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

With revenues in excess of $40 million and more than 1,300 employees, Cypress Private Security has been providing a full range of security solutions encompassing armed and unarmed uniformed officers, mobile patrols, loss prevention programs and emergency security consulting since 1996.
In California, Cypress Private Security staffs offices in Oakland, San Jose, Santa Fe Springs, Modesto and Los Angeles. The company also operates locations in Seattle and Las Vegas. The company’s COO, Jonas Tegnerud, will be joining Allied Universal as director of operations in the Northwest region.

In April, Allied Universal announced the acquisition of Securadyne Systems, a security integrator, based in Dallas. The deal, for undisclosed terms, will give Allied Universal an integration platform to provide technology-enabled security solutions on a global scale, according to the announcement.
