TX armored truck security officer injured in robbery attempt
PORT ARTHUR TX June 28 2019
Port Arthur Police responded to a robbery attempt at the Market Basket on West Port Arthur Road shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday.
Police report that an attacker pistol whipped an armored truck security officer, beating him in the head with a gun.
The Rochester Armored Car employee was injured and suffered minor injuries.
Police said that the call originally came in as a shooting, but police found no one shot.
