Boscov’s in Westfield Meriden security agent cut by shoplifter
MERIDEN CT July 24 2017 A suspected female shoplifter is now accused of cutting a store security agent while he was trying to detain her.
Police responded to Boscov’s in Westfield Meriden after being notified that the female cut the security agent’s fingers Friday evening at about 6:45 p.m.
Police said the woman began fighting with security and pulled a knife after she was caught shoplifting.
The woman was charged with sixth-degree larceny and third-degree assault but her identity has not been released yet.
