SC hotel security shoots man after being attacked
COLUMBIA, S.C. July 10 2019 A man is now facing charges after attacking a security officer at a hotel Monday night, according to the Columbia Police Department
Officials said the man went into the hotel and got into a confrontation with the hotel security officer.
Moments later, he attacked the armed security guard.
The security officer shot the man causing non-life-threatening injuries.
Both men were taken to receive medical treatment, but the suspect is still in the hospital.
Police said charges are pending against him.
