Man arrested after trying to run over security officer with car

A security officer at a business was assaulted and a driver of a vehicle arrested.
Police said that Elwin Ramirez-Vega, 20, of Denver, was charged with aggravated assault and driving under suspension after he sped up and hit a security officer.
Police said that the security officer who trying to escort him off a business July 31 in the first block of Weaver Road, police said.
No injuries were reported.
