1 dead, security guard shot in Birmingham Alabama
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. Sept 1 2019
A disturbance at a Birmingham nightclub has left one man dead and a security officer shot.
The shooting at the BadBoyz Entertainment Center on Bessemer Road in Birmingham early Sunday morning brought a heavy police response along with a response from the Birmingham Fire and EMS.
One person was found unresponsive with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead on the scene.
A security guard was also shot and was transported to UAB hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
One person is in custody for questioning and police are searching for another suspect.
