MetroLink private security guard charged with felony theft
ST Louis MO Aug 8 2017 A security guard apparently working security for MetroLink is now charged with felony stealing for allegedly taking a woman’s purse.
Police say he robbed a woman of her credit card and purse.
Murphy Outlaw is charged with Felony Stealing and a Misdemeanor Stealing for an alleged incident back on Aug. 2.
Charging documents accuse Outlaw stole a credit card and a purse from a female victim. The alleged incident occurred in the 600 block of Washington Avenue around 9:00 p.m.
The video, obtained by News 4 shows the guard in a work vest leaving the purse on the sidewalk by the stairs leading to the underground platform.
Minutes later he returns and picks through the emptied contents of the purse.
Court documents say Outlaw took the purse without the owner’s consent.
