Police investigating attempted robbery of armored car at Northwoods Mall
CHARLESTON, S.C. Sept 23 2019 An attempted armored truck robbery in South Carolina is under investigation today.
North Charleston police report that a Garda armored truck arrived at the Northwoods Mall Friday night at around 6 :15 PM.
Three persons approached the truck and according to police, one of the three suspects attempted to grab a bag from one of the security guards who then hit one of the suspects.
The three then fled on foot, police said.
There was no report of injuries.
Police are continuing the investigation.
