Police investigate security officer murder

A security officer standing in front of a bodega ( convenience store) has been shot and killed during the overnight hours.
Police have few leads and don’t know if the security officer was targeted or if this was an attempted robbery.
Police detectives are still on the scene.
No other details are being released at this time.
NOTE: This is the fifth security officer to die on duty since Friday.
