We’re learning that security guard was a 21-year-old father.
Tomorrow morning River City Saloon is holding a benefit for Brandon Olguin, the security guard who died.
They said he was defending the bar when he was shot and killed.
River City Saloon’s Owner, David De La Paz said 21-year-old Brandon Olguin was a good man.
He was known for always smiling and doing the right thing on the job.
De La Paz said he kicked out the 26-year-old man who later started shooting at the bar.
That’s when he tells me Olguin returned fire, killing the shooter before Olguin was rushed to the hospital and died from his injuries.
Now, De La Paz said he is focused on making sure Olguin’s family will be okay.
“It’s important to me that they know Brandon was defending the bar, he died while defending the bar,” De La Paz said.
