Armored truck crash reported in Charlotte

Rain and slick roads may have attributed to accident along the freeway in Charlotte Wednesday
involving an armored truck.
Police, fire and EMS responded to the afternoon accident when the armored vehicle slid off the highway and spun out into a ditch.
EMS reported no injuries to the security officers.
Police stated that there was no money spilled and that they kept the scene secured until the
vehicle was pulled out.
Recent armored truck accidents this year have resulted in several fatalities of security personnel and in Atlanta Georgia in July, money from an armored truck spilled along the roads leading to dozens of people scooping up the cash and fleeing.
