Ohio man arrested for threatening to shoot a church security guard
Youngstown OH Nov 9 2019
Police responded to assist security at a church on Wick Ave, after receiving complaints of someone refusing to leave the property.
Braylon Barnes, 28, was taken into custody and arrested by the arriving officer.
He was booked into the Mahoning County Jail on charges of aggravated menacing.
According to a police report, Barnes was causing a disturbance at the church and refused to leave.
A security guard at the church told police that Barnes threatened to shoot him.
Police noted they did not find any weapons on Barnes.
Barnes told officers he wanted to shoot the security guard because the church “owes him his free food.”
