Suspect commits murder, shoots and kills himself in church, says Highland Co. Sheriff deputies
HIGHLAND COUNTY, Ohio December 15 2019 Highland County police were called to a murder-suicide late Friday night where the suspect shot and killed a woman, then took off across the street to the Church of Nazarene where the suspect shot and killed himself, says a deputy at the Highland County Sheriff’s Department.
It started at 11:30 p.m. at a house across the street from the Church of Nazarene on U.S. 50.
Deputies say then the gunman took off to the church and barricaded himself in before the suspect shot and killed himself.
No shots were fired by deputies.
Deputies are still investigating.
