Retired Kentucky police officer working as security guard killed in ATV accident
ASHLAND, Ky. Feb 19 2020 A retired police officer now working as a security officer was killed in an ATV accident in Boyd County.
The Boyd County Sheriff’s Department posted on Facebook that Danny Mooney who was off duty at the time of the accident, died in an accident on his property.
The post says Mooney retired from the Ashland Police Department and that he was currently working as a security officer at a federal building.
Mooney’s funeral arrangements are pending.
