Chester County man jailed for fighting with campus officers
Richland PA Sept 6 2017 A Chester County man was jailed Tuesday, accused of fighting with security on the Pitt-Johnstown campus in Richland Township, authorities said.
UPJ police charged Alex Joseph Diskin, 19, of Chester Springs, with two counts of disorderly conduct and one count of resisting arrest.
According to a criminal complaint, police said they found Diskin sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot of the Living-Learning Center after other students expressed concern that he might hurt them or injure himself.
Diskin began waving his arms and yelling that he would not get out of the vehicle, the complaint stated.
Diskin allegedly began fighting with police, who then sprayed him with Mace.
Diskin was arraigned by on-call District Judge Michael Musulin of Johnstown and sent to Cambria County Prison after failing to post 10 percent of $75,000.
