Akron security officer helps police nab school burglars
Akron OH Sept 17 2017 A security officer patrolling a school on Mull Avenue September 4th
found a broken window and several bicycles near-by.
The security officer notified police and took up a position near the building and kept surveillance of the area.
When officers arrived, they found two West Akron juveniles and a Bath juvenile at the scene. The youths all said the window was broken before they went inside to check the place out.
Police said one of the West Akron youths had a set of janitor’s keys and the three were seen going into rooms throughout the building.
The three were arrested and charged with breaking and entering and taken to the Summit County Juvenile Detention Facility.
