Looters break into Midtown pharmacy during George Floyd protests, swipe $60,000 in prescription drugs

Three thieves broke into a Rite Aid in Midtown and swiped $60,000 worth of prescription drugs as thousands marched through the streets protesting George Floyd’s death.
The three men, all wearing surgical masks, smashed their way through a store window at the W. 50th St. pharmacy near Eighth Ave. about 11:15 p.m. Monday, a night plagued by late-night looting and violent clashes with cops.
The crooks ran right to the store’s pharmacy, where they took an assortment of prescription drugs, cops said. It was not immediately clear what drugs were taken.
Cops released surveillance video of the suspects on Saturday.
One of the thieves was sporting a mustache and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants and a light-blue surgical mask.
had short black hair and was wearing a black T-shirt reading “AD-HD” on the front.
The third suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark colored sweatpants, black sneakers and a surgical mask.
